Conducted by Edustructures, the SIF Developer Bootcamp is a three-day, intense, hands-on training seminar focused on SIF agent development. 

The Bootcamp offers developers the opportunity to learn about SIF, plus how to most effectively use Edustructures' SIF development tools. 

At the Bootcamp, participants will have the opportunity to work on their own SIF agent with the support and expertise of Edustructures developers and other SIF agent developers.

Prerequisites    

It is recommended that attendees of this event have taken the Basic SIF Theory course from SIFA University (http://www.sifinfo.org/us/sifau.asp) or have  a working familiarity with the Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) Implementation Specification 2.0r1 or greater. 

Attendees should have familiarity with developing applications using Java or .NET. Attendees should have experience in object-oriented development techniques.All attendees should bring with them a laptop with wireless capability and a Java or .NET development environment installed. 

Cost

The fee for this training is $1,500, pre-paid per attendee. For current, licensed ADK customers, the price is $1,000 per attendee.

Food

A continental breakfast and box lunch will be provided each day. In addition, Edustructures will host attendees for one dinner on the first day of Boot Camp.

More Information

During this event, developers will have the opportunity to learn about SIF and work hands-on with Edustructures SIFWorks development tools. The event will include instructional sessions, hands-on development and debugging sessions using Edustructures tools. By the end of the event, participants should have the knowledge and ability to implement a comprehensive SIF Agent project. Attendees will have the opportunity to work on a SIF agent with other SIF developers, including developers from Edustructures.
